How long does the Workshop take?+
The standard Workshop runs 3 weeks from kickoff to executive presentation. Do we have to be on Microsoft 365 already?+
No. The Workshop is vendor-neutral. Many of our Workshop clients run Microsoft 365 and end up on a Copilot recommendation. Others run Google Workspace and end up with Gemini for Workspace plus a standalone vendor. Others have a hybrid stack and need a multi-vendor strategy. The vendor selection is part of the deliverable, not a prerequisite for the engagement.
Does the Workshop include actually running the pilot?+
No — the Workshop produces a fully-scoped 90-day pilot plan ready to execute, but does not include pilot execution. Execution is a separate engagement. You can execute the pilot internally with the plan we deliver, hand it to any IT partner, or engage Simply IT for pilot execution as a follow-on. Pilot execution typically runs $3,500-$7,500 depending on team size and vendor mix; most Workshop clients who proceed to execution choose to roll the pilot into ongoing managed IT instead.
What if we already use AI informally and want it audited and formalized?+
This is one of the most common Workshop engagements in 2026. The deliverables shift slightly: the Readiness Assessment becomes an audit of what's actually in use (which staff use which personal accounts, which data is flowing where, which consumer-tier tools have ingested PHI / FERPA / privileged client data). The Vendor Selection Matrix becomes a migration plan from consumer accounts to enterprise tier with BAAs where applicable. The Acceptable-Use Policy gets retroactive enforcement language. The pilot plan becomes a formalization plan. Same $2,500, same 3 weeks, different focus.
